Hi-Globe “Training Course Invitation” | Erasmus + Project

Esteemed Teacher,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in an international online training course promoted by Promimpresa in the context of the Erasmus+ project HI-GLOBE, targeting English teachers. The training represents an opportunity for professional growth, interpersonal exchange and the establishment of international connections.

The training will be held online during the week between February 22nd and February 26th 2021 – from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00. The training course is free of charge.

The objective of the HI-GLOBE project is to enhance the potential of English-language learning for Global Educational purposes. Global education (GE) is an approach that enables people to develop the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes needed for securing a sustainable world in which everyone has the right to fulfil his/her potential. GE encompasses Development Education, Human Rights Education, Education for Sustainability, Education for Peace and Conflict Prevention, Intercultural Education, being the global dimension for Education for Citizenship (Global Education Guidelines, 2008).

During the training experience, participants will interact and collaborate among each other, first to explore topics such as CLIL, Task-based learning, Digital and Blended learning, Individual and cooperative learning and more; participants will then collaboratively workshop the basic structure of the HI-GLOBE training modules, to be developed, tested and transferred in the next months.

Minimum requirements for recruitment are proficiency in the English language and experience or interest in English teaching, affinity for Global Education purposes and access to a computer or device.
